Witches and Warlocks

ree

I don't read many fantasy books but when I do they're about witches and let me be honest this was definitely not my favorite. These books were a total of 1,708 pages and I rate it a 1/5. I definitely feel like I wasted my time reading this series, but I was so involved with the story I had to know how it ended even though it was a terrible storyline.

There will be no spoilers today because I am not going to go into too much detail.

This was one of the worst books I have read since World War Z. I finished it only because I was so involved and wanted to know what happened to the witch and warlock that were destined to be together. It was not worth it they ended up together at the very last page of the last book in the series. I feel bad for the fans that had to wait years for this book to come out luckily I hadn't found the series until it was finished.

The authors jumped all over the place, they would add in characters out of nowhere with no character development, kill someone off that was just introduced five pages ago, turn girls into skilled witches even though they just found out they were a witch and start rivalries out of nowhere. The fight scenes were super predictable and I felt like I was never surprised, I just felt like I had to finish it to know if the characters finally fell in love and it was not worth it DON'T DO IT FELLOW READERS. Maybe I am just so used to Stephen King's character development but I have read many books and this was just not it for me. I really have nothing else to say other than, I am sad I read this instead of Under The Dome because they are around the same amount of pages.

I would Love to hear your thoughts on these books if you have read them. Let's start a convo!

Thank you so much for reading my blog review and I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!! Until next week, stay reading.
